This week @ DJmag!

With DJmag Top 100 DJs now well underway, things are definitely hotting up in the poll. Some social media-enthused music fans have decided that Sir Jimmy Savile deserves one of the much coveted 100 top slots so much so they have started their own Facebook campaign! Not to mention some of the world’s biggest DJs having declared battle with seriously funny and decidedly random viral vids, check out a couple of our faves below:

As always, the DJmag Top 100 DJs is providing a massive promotional tool to DJs old and new, unknown and world famous, which is one of the best things about the poll. Helping talent get recognised, giving people a leg up to higher realms and giving the public a voice from which to cast out their opinions on the international DJ scene. Not to mention our no-holds-barred final parties (2010 is the first year we’ve held two) in both London and Manchester on October 27th! No doubt they're going to be mental…

Also this week we have the usual flow of music reviews up on the site, including brand new tracks from Donae’o, Fort Knox Five, Africa Hitech and MIA, plus a news piece on seriously cool new sneaker site Soleheaven and a diary on learning Ableton with Point Blank courses.

PLUS the arrival of our brand new DJweekly podcasts!! A new feature dished out with our free weekly e-zine, DJweekly, this first podcast comes courtesy of Leeds based Death On The Balcony.
